The i280 is the flagship of Kodak's i200 line. This scanner includes features previously unheard of in this category - such as iThresholding, for amazing image quality on bitonal scans, a "special document mode" that will allow it to feed virtually any document, regardless of its shape, and a "long document mode", which supports documents of 20 feet - or much longer, if the connected PC is up to it. The i280 resets expectations about what you can get in a departmental scanner.
